About Us
The village of Argyle lies among the rolling hills of southwestern Wisconsin. We are a full service mill. We wash fiber with a mild, citrus-based detergent, recycle the water and allow the fiber to air dry. We process the fiber based on the specific needs of each customer. We produce clouds, roving, batts, and yarn.
We support and supply local fiber producers and artisans. The Mill provides retail services, consignment opportunities, and a cozy space for knitters, spinners, and fiber-folks to gather. Please call first if you are driving a distance so we are sure to meet you. If the store doesn't appear open, be sure to come around to the side door to where we are milling.
Join us for knitting (weather permitting) on Wednesday nights from 6:30 till around 10:00. Our knitting group has spawned the Argylian Society of Knitters who create a variety of knitted items chiefly for donation to our active duty troops or veterans at the VA Hospital.
All yarn spun from fiber produced within fifty miles (or so) of the Mill.
